The Aurora Project Seeks Parents of Gifted Students, Grades 4-6
March 2010
We are developing an augmented assessment of giftedness in childrenthe Aurora
Batteryas an alternative to traditional measures of intelligence, based
upon Dr. Robert J. Sternbergs Theory of Successful Intelligence, and including
4 methods of evaluation: a paper and pencil test, a teacher rating scale, a
semi-structured parent interview, and a clinical observation.
